Travel Click Holidays ( an online travel agency has closed after negative reviews began to appear on customer review sites and forums.

The Enfield based company sold package holidays and flights to several destinations which included Dubai, Las Vegas, Cyprus and Greece.

The company website states that the business is currently closed for maintenance however a statement from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Friday said: “Travel Click Ltd, trading as, has ceased trading with immediate effect.” The news on the closure of the business is the first holiday firm to fail this year and comes just as the summer holiday start.

Travel click had become the subject of numerous complaints on a consumer complaint forum by disgruntled customers who had paid for holiday but had not received any confirmation of their click. Customers were apparently poorly treated as rude staff dealt with their complaints. This highlights the importance for businesses to maintain their online reputation and realise the importance of reputation management.

The firm has a reported turnover of over £500 000 and over 1000 customers, customers already on holidays should be able to continue as usual and board their return flights. Those due to travel in the future will have to apply for a refund with the CAA.
