The threat from media coverage has grown to 26% in 2018, from 17% since 2014. While 1 in 20 brands say negative content has already cost them more than £500,000.
Negative press and negative content main worries for UK businesses
While negative press remains the biggest problem, brands note other key issues including poor reviews, social media posts, and negative content posted by competitors.
As a result, 95% of UK businesses surveyed by Igniyte are taking preventative action with 95% of respondents now actively monitoring or measuring reputation.
