Market research and consumer insight news website, Research Live, covered Igniyte’s latest research on the Business of Reviews, which revealed that 51% of UK businesses have been affected by online reviews in the past year.

The research, commissioned by Igniyte and conducted by OnePoll, surveyed 1,000 UK business owners or higher managers on the effect of online reviews on their business.

Research Live quoted some of the key findings, including the finding that almost a fifth of UK companies are spending up to £30,000 per year trying to deal with online reviews.

The discovery that a fifth of businesses are now monitoring for online reviews and forum posts daily was also included.
